The large fish pond has a plethora of pond life and goldfish gliding between the lilly pads and reeds. The water-race provides a tinkling background water ambience.
The three lower ponds are fish-free zones, but the falls between them add to the background water ambience, whilst the lillies and reeds provide small oases within the terraced rock gardens.
